Fall is in full swing!

Even though we are summer season fans around here, there's no denying, this fall weather has its perks! Have you found yourself outside more often? Us too! As a family, we've been visiting more parks, been hiking several times, and have a couple camping trips planned. And of course we've had lots of one of our favorite things; bon fires! Bring on the s'mores!!! In addition, we've been utilizing our hot tub and patio areas more often in the evenings, now that we aren't fighting mosquitos and it's perfect hot tub temps. Side note- we personally have a Softub next to our patio. This was the only way Chris could talk me into owning and maintaining a hot tub. It's super low maintenance, plugs into a regular outlet, and is only 60 pounds when emptied so we have moved it several times. I need to get a good picture of ours, but here's a stock picture for now...

Softub, hot tub or no tub, regardless, everyone is outside more often these days. With that, we've had more interest and inquires about extending outdoor living spaces. If you have a patio or small area off the back of your house, adding a deck, pergola, or a covered porch structure, is a great way to enjoy this weather and give yourself more living space. Imagine moving dinner to your outdoor dining area or sitting around a fire pit snuggled in throw blankets.

That's exactly what some of our latest clients did and I wanted to share this pergola install here. This couple has recently downsized and is now enjoying the lower maintenance life of a townhome, but still capitalizing on their outdoor patio and backyard views. The only thing missing now is that fire pit! If you're interested in something like this, give us a call!
