I tried a new (to me) interior color in our #tuliohouse project and I'm giving you the run down. We used Sherwin Williams Incredible White and I was so happy with it in about 85% of the house. I wanted warmth and depth, without too much yellow, and that's exactly what I got, mostly. As you can see in the pictures below, the paint color worked really well in the main living room, kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms. In these room, we had lots of windows and natural light!
BUT, in the hallway , where we lose a little of that natural light, it started to show undertones. In the hallway bathroom, where it gets zero natural light and also plays off the wood tones of the vanity, it almost looks like a light pink.
I honestly think it is still a great look and gives all the warm vibes, like I wanted, but if I would've had time, I would've painted a sample in each room and tested it throughout the day. Novice move.
One of our favorite things about these home projects is learning and growing with each one! And now I'm sharing my mistakes with you so you can save yourself some time and headache. You're welcome :-) Have you ever painted then turned around just to repaint it because you weren't happy with the outcome?
